Miris story begins with a traditional mustard recipe handed down through four generations of Sri Lankan women. The recipe combines exotic blends of spices and fresh herbs along with the humble mustard seed and queen of spice - 'Chilli'.

Miris is the word for 'chilli' in Sinhalese. 

We now have a range of recipes, which are all 'hand made', using only the freshest of ingredients, purchased from local produce markets wherever possible.
